I have to automated a web based application that has been developed using IBM BPM . From the application perspective i can understand that AngularJs has been incorporated while developing the UI using IBM BPM.

Can anyone please suggest any Automation Testing tool using which can be compatible with the UI built using IBM BPM.

You hit the target when mentioning people not realizing automation test development takes an amount of time just like developing any application software. It really is developing software to test software. It’s unfortunate some organizations fail to understand this and take automation testers for granted.

Thanks again for you insightful article.

In recent times, it has picked up. It has copied its GUI from Eclipse open source tool. They have tried to incorporate certain abstraction using workflows and tests which definitely works well using Java language. UFT is far ahead in terms of features such as Object repositiory, recovery scenerios, Extensibility, virtual objects which are straight forward solutions to the challenges brought up by web and windows based applications. Customized reporting efforts are same though. OATS is very neat and clean framework though due to Java’s language features.
